Meet the Teacher Night!!

Whew! We have Meet the Teacher Night under our belt, and now we can move onto the first day of school! I just want to thank everyone who made it tonight! I loved having the opportunity to put a face and family to the names I have been labeling all around our room! I am so excited because I KNOW this is going to be a great bunch of kids!!

I am also so excited for this blogging experience between us! This will be a great visual way to keep us all posted about what is going on in our “home-away-from-home!”

Since we had a few students who couldn’t make the big night, I thought I would share some pictures of the classroom set up tonight.....

Here is the classroom right before all the parents and kiddos came in! I loved the idea of the jungle balloons….hopefully they float for a decent amount of time!! 

 

Here is just my “Artsy Fartsy” shot of the balloons and treats! The kids last year thought it was pretty funny to call me artsy fartsy….I sure love crafting and art!!

For my kids and parents that didn’t make it tonight here is what I look like! I am so excited to see you and get to know you the first day of school!

Also this is what I was like the end of the night! I hope that when you go home tonight you put your feet up, relax, and enjoy the end of your summer vacation!

I hope you all enjoyed coming in and getting to see where you and your child will be spending so much time this school year….I can’t wait to see you Tuesday!
